Welcome to my Blog!
Kia ora. My name is Kauri and I am a year 7 student from ilminster Intermediate school in Gisborne. I have a little brother and a mum and dad.
I enjoy spending time with my friends, drawing and listening to Lofi hip hop which is a genre of music. I like to say that I'm decent with maths and reading but I'm best with creative writing, specifically about mythical, historical and sci-fi things.
Something I’m looking forward to this year is our inquiry project which is to do with technology and things in the future which I'm really keen on researching about. Someone I look up to is a person by the name of Juice wrld or Jarad Higgins, He is an american rapper and he died during late 2019 and I was very sad when I found out about his passing.

Today i learnt how to use a website called "remove.bg" which removes the background and the dangers of scams also how to avoid scams by seeing if the website has https in the url.
I really enjoyed helping couper and trying my best with the image I had made.
I also found it kind of challenging to find the correct images and lighting on those images same with my the picture of my face.
I found it easy to use remove.bg on the polar bear and my face picture.
Next time i will write even more than i did here and instead of worrying about the picture so much i will write heaps instead

Is the environment our problem?
It was pretty difficult to list why the environment IS our responsibility without ranting about how people treat it badly.
I enjoyed making the background nice and colorful and finding the right trees to put in front of the text box.
Also I think that next time I think I could do more amazing mahi involving the environment but I had to kind of rush it a little bit.
Scratch tutorial :)
Today I made a scratch tutorial video on how to move your sprite (character) in Scratch!
I found it easy to say what to do and say the instructions.
I found it challenging to remember what I needed to code.
Next time i make a scratch tutorial my voice will be clearer and it will be more detailed :)
